Education Data Addendum

Conditions for institution-authorized education use and student information.

Education use and authorization

A school, tutor or education business can use Sitekick to explain its services through a public website. That use does not automatically authorize the collection or processing of student records, children's personal information, grades, disability information or other sensitive education data. An institution must confirm an appropriate written processing arrangement before using Sitekick for that information.

Any institution-authorized arrangement must identify the responsible organization, approved users, covered service, permitted purposes, necessary data and retention instructions. The institution remains responsible for its authority, notices, required permissions and directions to users.

Minimization and human oversight

  • Keep public website content separate from private student information. Do not publish student records or identifying examples without the required authority.
  • Do not send identifiable student information to an AI provider unless the written arrangement and provider route expressly allow it.
  • Limit collaborator access and remove it when a person no longer needs it.
  • Review generated material and accessibility. Do not rely on Sitekick output alone for consequential decisions about a student.

Requests and end of service

Requests to access, correct, export or delete institution-controlled data must come through an authorized institution contact. Covered retention, return and deletion follow the applicable written arrangement and law. Contact support@sitekick.ai before beginning a student-data workflow; an ordinary CMS subscription or Studio beta invitation does not establish a school-specific data agreement.
