LEGAL & POLICY CENTER

Account Ownership Policy

Account authority, website and domain ownership, and transfer requests.

Authority and ownership

Create and manage an account only for yourself or an organization you are authorized to represent. The billing contact, website editor, organization owner and domain registrant can be different people. Paying an invoice or knowing a public website URL does not by itself establish authority to control that account, website or domain.

You retain rights to your own business content and assets, subject to any third-party rights and the permissions needed to provide the service. Review the applicable Terms and licenses for templates, fonts, plugins, stock media and generated material.

Collaborators and transfer requests

Use individual authorized access where available and avoid shared passwords. Before requesting an account, site or domain transfer, confirm the receiving party, the resources involved and any billing or registrar changes. Sitekick may require evidence of authority from the current account holder, organization or registrant before acting.

Contact support@sitekick.ai if an administrator leaves, an email address is unavailable, or ownership is disputed. We may pause a contested transfer while authority is reviewed. Do not send passwords, private keys or full payment-card details as proof.

Leaving the service

A content export or website transfer does not automatically transfer subscriptions, domain registration, email services, plugin licenses or connected payment accounts. Keep independent copies, verify the receiving environment and separately confirm any cancellation or billing change.
