Is SiteKick Rescue free?
The public website check is free now. The planned public plugin download and standalone basic diagnostics will be free. SiteKick CMS hosting and ongoing AI assistance use the existing CMS subscription plans. Public plugin downloads are not yet available.
Do I need a SiteKick account to download the plugin?
No account, email address or credit card will be required for the public plugin download. An account is needed only if you choose supported SiteKick account services. Visiting this page or checking a website does not subscribe you to email.
Will the plugin change my website?
Assessment is read-only by default. The private preview also includes separately reviewed, explicitly approved expired-transient cleanup with an encrypted local restore point on supported installations. Cleanup is optional. It does not automatically remove plugins, migrate a site or publish changes. Keep an independent database backup; a local restore point does not replace one.
Can it detect every security problem?
No. Public HTML checks and local observations are not a comprehensive vulnerability scan. An outdated version or a plugin overlap alone does not prove a vulnerability or conflict. Rescue does not provide a measured security grade or a performance score.
Can I migrate my existing WordPress site?
Automatic migration is not available. A migration needs a separate compatibility review, backup, restoration plan and explicit approval. The plugin does not directly migrate non-WordPress platforms. You can use the public check to start a discussion about what to review.
What happens if I want SiteKick to manage my website?
Explore the existing CMS plans for AI-assisted creation, conversation-based edits, saved project context, hosting and publication review. An existing site needs a separate suitability assessment. A subscription does not by itself import or change that site.
Can I uninstall the plugin afterward?
Yes, the private preview can be deactivated and uninstalled through WordPress. It does not delete retained local reports or restore points on uninstall. Keep recovery configuration and independent backups until any recovery is complete, and arrange reviewed data retention before removing it.
