WHEN THE PUBLIC RELEASE IS AVAILABLE

From verified ZIP to local observations.

Before installation, this page will provide the approved version, release date, WordPress and PHP requirements, SHA-256 checksum and changelog. Those release details are unavailable until the public artifact is verified. Do not install a development branch or an unverified archive.

  1. Download the approved ZIP

Use the public download linked from SiteKick Rescue when it becomes available. Check the version, supported environment and SHA-256 checksum. No account, email or payment will be required.

  2. Open the WordPress plugin uploader

Sign in as an authorized administrator. In WordPress Admin, open Plugins → Add New Plugin, then select Upload Plugin.

  3. Upload and activate

Select the verified ZIP, choose Install Now and then Activate Plugin. Test on a disposable copy first and keep a current independent database backup.

  4. Open SiteKick Rescue

Open its WordPress administrator screen and run a read-only assessment. Review observed findings and coverage limits before deciding what to do next.

  5. Choose any next step explicitly

Optional cleanup is separate from assessment and requires review, a verified local restore point and approval on supported installations. It does not remove plugins or migrate your site. A restore point is not a replacement for your own backup.

  6. Connect only if you choose

Optional report sharing depends on the separately enabled CMS integration. Inspect the minimized report and explicitly consent before sending it to your existing SiteKick account. No WordPress administrator password is needed. Failed or canceled sharing leaves findings local.

Keep recovery and privacy in view.

Assessment does not automatically clean up, publish or migrate anything. Current preview cleanup is limited to reviewed expired database transients and is disabled for unsupported environments, including multisite and external object caches.

Deactivation or uninstall does not delete retained local reports or restore points. Preserve the original recovery configuration and arrange reviewed retention before removing the plugin. Do not put private configuration, database values or credentials into support requests.
