START WITH WHAT VISITORS CAN SEE

## A useful first check, with clear limits.

The existing website checker examines publicly available page HTML. Every observation comes from the page it can actually retrieve.

### Public website essentials

- HTTPS and page title

- Meta description and heading count

- Viewport and language declarations

- Image alt attribute presence and rough word count

A missing attribute is an observation to review, not proof that a page is inaccessible.

### Understand the boundaries

This check does not measure page speed, test actual mobile rendering, audit every accessibility issue or inspect your WordPress plugins. It cannot authenticate to your site or diagnose every security problem.

INSIDE WORDPRESS

## Deeper context starts with local observations.

The private plugin preview can inspect information a public URL cannot reveal. These capabilities describe the preview, not an available public download.

### Environment and plugins

WordPress and PHP versions, HTTPS configuration, active plugin inventory, and heuristic SEO or cache plugin overlaps. Overlap is a prompt for review, not a confirmed conflict.

### Bounded database observations

Inspected option bytes, expired transients, spam or trashed comments and media references. Reports label partial coverage. Media optimization and automatic plugin removal are not implemented.

### Your approval stays central

Assessment is read-only by default. Optional transient cleanup is a separate review and approval flow with a local restore point. Nothing is automatically sent to SiteKick.

ONE STEP AT A TIME

## Understand first. Decide what comes next.

1. ### Check your website now

Use the free public checker for a first set of HTML observations.

2. ### Install when the public release is ready

Download a verified ZIP, run a local assessment and review its coverage. [See the installation steps.](https://www.sitekick.ai/rescue/install)

3. ### Choose whether to connect

The private preview offers optional minimized-report sharing only when the CMS integration is enabled. Review the exact report and give consent before sharing. Never send your WordPress administrator password.

4. ### Review before any change

Assess compatibility and backup needs separately. No automatic migration or cutover is available. A future migration or improvement plan requires review and approval before execution.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

## Questions, answered.

SiteKick Rescue is not published on WordPress.org. Public release details will appear here when verified.

Is SiteKick Rescue free?

The public website check is free now. The planned public plugin download and standalone basic diagnostics will be free. SiteKick CMS hosting and ongoing AI assistance use the existing CMS subscription plans. Public plugin downloads are not yet available.

Do I need a SiteKick account to download the plugin?

No account, email address or credit card will be required for the public plugin download. An account is needed only if you choose supported SiteKick account services. Visiting this page or checking a website does not subscribe you to email.

Will the plugin change my website?

Assessment is read-only by default. The private preview also includes separately reviewed, explicitly approved expired-transient cleanup with an encrypted local restore point on supported installations. Cleanup is optional. It does not automatically remove plugins, migrate a site or publish changes. Keep an independent database backup; a local restore point does not replace one.

Can it detect every security problem?

No. Public HTML checks and local observations are not a comprehensive vulnerability scan. An outdated version or a plugin overlap alone does not prove a vulnerability or conflict. Rescue does not provide a measured security grade or a performance score.

Can I migrate my existing WordPress site?

Automatic migration is not available. A migration needs a separate compatibility review, backup, restoration plan and explicit approval. The plugin does not directly migrate non-WordPress platforms. You can use the public check to start a discussion about what to review.

What happens if I want SiteKick to manage my website?

Explore the existing CMS plans for AI-assisted creation, conversation-based edits, saved project context, hosting and publication review. An existing site needs a separate suitability assessment. A subscription does not by itself import or change that site.

Can I uninstall the plugin afterward?

Yes, the private preview can be deactivated and uninstalled through WordPress. It does not delete retained local reports or restore points on uninstall. Keep recovery configuration and independent backups until any recovery is complete, and arrange reviewed data retention before removing it.
