AppDrag has officially announced that it will shut down on **November 1, 2026**, ending a platform that has helped businesses, freelancers, and agencies build more than 25,000 websites since 2016. The immediate priority isn't choosing a replacement website builder. It's making sure you don't lose the website, content, customer information, domain access, and functionality you've spent years building. According to [AppDrag's official announcement](https://support.appdrag.com/doc/Sunset-of-AppDrag), the company has stopped accepting new customers and projects and will permanently discontinue service on November 1, 2026. AppDrag previously combined website creation, blogging, e-commerce, newsletter tools, domain management, and cloud-backend functionality. That breadth is important because not every replacement platform supports every AppDrag feature. If you operate a basic marketing website, the transition may be comparatively straightforward. If you use Cloud Backend databases, APIs, e-commerce, or automated workflows, you'll need a more detailed migration plan. ## Step 1: Inventory everything your AppDrag website depends on Before exporting anything, identify what must continue working after the shutdown. Make a record of: - Website pages, images, downloads, and other media - Blog posts, categories, and article URLs - Shop products, order information, and payment integrations - Custom domain registrations and DNS settings - Contact forms, lead submissions, and newsletter subscribers - Cloud Backend databases, API endpoints, and custom functions - Analytics, SEO metadata, redirects, and third-party integrations For agencies, repeat this inventory for every client project.
